Leadership
Here is my leadership presentation were it explains what a leader is to me and someone who I think is a leader. I have adored his books since I started school! I had some trouble finding a leader. I asked my friends who they thought were leaders and they answered with sports stars sure they are great but I wasn't sure if that was who I would look up to. I thought about it and asked myself who have I known since I started school and thought was inspiring, Roald Dahl came to mind!

The trust challenge
Yesterday the year 8's had a challenge with trusting! The challenge was us to to close our eyes and to trust and rely on our partner to lead us the right way. My partner and I had a great time. One of the best parts was when we had to slide down the slide with our eyes closed. I think that this activity really help LS2 bond with trust!

Home Learning - Taj Mahal
Here is my home learning that I collaborated with my friend Zahra. I enjoyed researching about the Taj Mahal and hope that I will get to visit some day when I am older. I thought that there were some amazing facts such as how Shah Jahan marries second wife Muntaz Mahal when she was at the age of 14.

Kaleidoscope Artwork
Here is my kaleidoscope artwork. I enjoyed doing this piece of artwork because it was really interesting to see what you end up with at the end.I like the colours I chose because they go well together and they are my favourite colours. I liked this activity because it was fun and I also learnt a lot of new things
Home Learning - Week 3
This week for home learning, I had to work collaboratively with a partner of my choice and create a DLO about the Sydney Opera House. This week, I worked together with Sajiha. We had questions that we had to answer on the home learning tab on our class site. We added facts and images too.

Dear Term 4 Me - 2016
Dear Term 4 Me
By the end of the year you should have reached the national standards in all subjects. Did you spend your free time at home doing homework instead of watching T.V? You can work at home and do your quick writes to improve your writing. Did you show leadership and receive an award at prize giving. You can do this by showing respect and staying out of trouble.
I hope you have earned all care award badges so that by the end of the year you will have eight badges all together. You can earn your badges by using your free time in class to complete tasks on the list. Were you paying attention in class and reading 30 minutes every night?
I hope that by the end of the year you will have achieved this list and I hope that you will be accepted into a great college!

Stretching Sentences
This is my presentation of Stretching Sentences. My task was to use the 5 W's in a sentence to help make it more complex and detailed. I enjoyed learning this because this can help me improve in my sentences when I am doing a writing assessment.
