Statue of Librety - Homework Week 10

This is week 10's homework. Our task was to find out about the Statue of Liberty. This week I worked on my own as my partner was busy completing something else. I had a lot of fun completing homework this week and hope I will get to visit the Statue of Liberty when I am older. It was very interesting to see the construction photos of the Statue of Liberty and one of the facts I was mostly interested by was how Statue of Liberty is closer to New Jersey and New Jersey hasn't claimed that it's their's!

Home Learning - Week 3

This week for home learning, I had to work collaboratively with a partner of my choice and create a DLO about the Sydney Opera House. This week, I worked together with Sajiha. We had questions that we had to answer on the home learning tab on our class site. We added facts and images too. 

Pay it foward - Home learning

Last night my home learning task was to pay it forward.So I paid it forward to my parents by making them both a cup of coffee.I chose to do this because my parents work hard and they don't really have much time to make themselves a cup of coffee so  I believe it made my parents feel great because it was my first time making a cup of coffee on my own. After their cup of coffee I asked them how it tasted , and they loved it ! I felt great after  I made the coffee.

Cook island Homework

Here is my homework presentation for this week . my homework for this week was based on cook island. The slides have information on the country cook island , numbers , greeting more.I created this presentation with my class mate Courtney . We both worked very well together and never disagreed.

Homework - Galileo Galilee

Our homework for this week was also a mystery topic and our topic was chosen by our student teacher Mrs . Donaldson . She chose Galileo Galilee . I enjoyed learning about him because there was so much I didn't know!

Food Truck Garage - Homework

Here is my homework for this week. My Home work is about The Food Truck Garage and how it came to be. The Food Truck Garage is mainly a Food Truck controlled by a NZ chef  who cooks normal food but takes out the Fat and puts in healthy benefits.

Kiwiana

This is my homework task this week.I really enjoyed making this online brochure and I am really glad that I finished it on time.This week we had to choose one of the Kiwianas so I chose Minties next you would make a brochure and it wasn't just the writing you had to do there were the colours you wanted the conrast, and font to make it really easy to read.in the brochure you would have to include What'Kiwiana' is What your example is (include an explanation of its origin and an image) Why it is linked to the group 'Kiwiana' The connection to your family (this maybe memory of a toy or a type of food you had when you were younger, a story your parents or grandparents have shared with you, a sign from a place you have visited.
