Dear Editor

On behalf of all the men in Taranaki and Waikato, I strongly disagree with the Government’s  Conscription. Why should we be forced to join the army to fight for King and Country when you have stolen our land and ability to grow our own food? Maybe if you put yourself in our shoes, then you may realise what we have been through compared to your life. We do not want to risk our lives fighting for something that we shouldn’t have to have a decision to even think about! I hope you understand clearly of what I am trying to say.

Here is a letter to the editor written by Sajiha and I. Our task was to write a letter to the editor sharing our reasons why conscription of men who the government had disappointed should not be allowed in the Maori Battalion.

My Letter To Johnny

Dear Johnny

I would like to let you know that Room 5, thank you very much for guiding us through amazing lessons with safety, care and supervision. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to experience new adventures and giving up your time to instruct us throughout every single activity we have completed. We want you to know that we really appreciate the times where you believed in us no matter how far behind we were. Thank you for being patient with us when some of us were still learning . When we look back to the 2 days of camp we spent with you we remember all the amazing memories we have had together as

   a team.

This is my letter to Johnny . On camp Johnny was our instructor and he did a great job . I wrote this letter because room 5 wanted to thank all our instructors because of  how much we appreciated them helping us.

Dear Term 4 me

Dear term 4 me By the time you read this note 2015 should nearly be done and you should have had fun this year because there is camp , film festival and production! This year I have set up 3 goals for you number 1 become at least one of the leaders you should have done this by having a positive attitude around people and always joining in on activities. Goal number 2 being above on 2 or 3 subjects this year you should have achieved this by listening to the teacher and learning all the things she teaches us and being professional at it by practicing it at home. Goal number 3 having a smile on my face every day of the year you can achieve the goal by going to sleep early and not being sleepy in the morning not having enemies and not taking in manipulates that people say about you.Goal number 4 I hope you have learnt lot sand reached stage seven by the end of the year . to do you need to practice your subjects such as decimals times tables and fraction.
